KANGA HIRE INFORMATION
Below is information about the KANGA Loader and how to use it.
As always if there is any doubt please ask.

Operations and Safety Video
The Trailer Package, pictured above, is 3.5T rated with electric brakes. The tow vehicle will have to have electric brakes fitted and be rated to tow 3.5T.
Subject to availability, the trailer can be dropped off to you, at an extra cost, if you do not have a suitable tow vehicle. Please ask us about this when hiring if required.
Unfortunately if the person hiring the machine turns up in a unsuitable vehicle we reserve the right to refuse hire and a hire fee may still be charged.
If the person hiring only requires a couple of implements then we can organise for the KANGA to be loaded onto a smaller trailer (2T rated with mechanical brakes) making it easier to tow.
Please take note of the pictures below showing the hitching requirements and the test function of the breakaway controller.

The ball hitch lowered all the way and the safety pin inserted. Handbrake off.

Electric trailer plug connected

Chains crossed and both shackles connected to the tow vehicle

The brake away cord connected to the tow vehicle separately to the chains (only on 3.5T rated trailer)

Jockey wheel pulled up out of the way

It is recommended that the brake away controller is tested before the trailer is used this is done by pressing the “press” button and the normal green light should be illuminated (only on 3.5T rated trailer).
